先說三點：

第一：一個非常重要的解題提示!

昨天的題目:

The divided and atomized world brings us (the sense of guilt) and (benefits.)

這個分裂的世界帶給我們(內疚感)和(各種好處)。

看清楚and!昨天的文章可沒有講這個分裂的世界帶給我們好處!

再強調一下：

昨天的文章說：在這個分裂的世界里，內疚感是有好處的。

但沒有說：這個分裂的世界帶給我們內疚感和好處!

很明顯的不同;

大家的問題就是沒有好好的切分這個題目!

以后做題的時候一定要注意，不要小看考研的題目和選項!一定要切分!!!

第二：關于potential這個詞：

這個詞可以是形容詞(潛在的)也可以是名詞(潛力，潛質);

其句型是：

Sth has the potential to be sth.

可以翻譯為：有可能成為…; 有成為…的潛質;

=Sth has the likelihood/possibility to be sth.

于是：potential= likelihood=possibility 的替換就產生了。

(這就是同義替換，我們需要看語境!)

第三：(guilt 名詞; guilty 形容詞)

今天的句子來自昨天英國衛報的文章。文章的主題：英國脫歐要關注的問題不在于“脫不脫”而在于“怎么脫”：The question of our membership isn’t on the table, but the manner of our exit is.

(后面省略了on the table，看出來了嗎?)(The question is on the table.問題正在討論。)文章也談到Facebook用戶數據泄露事件對英國脫歐的影響;

今天的句子：

The recent revelations concerning Cambridge Analytica and Aggregate IQ, and their involvement in the referendum are serious and troubling. Next to the fact that the government hasn’t consulted the public at all on the kind of Brexit it wants, evidence of possible cheating and unethical practices further undermine the referendum’s legitimacy.

判斷：

The referendum maybe not reasonable on the ground of gathered information.

詞匯突破：

參考譯文：政府完全沒有詢問過公眾想要什么類型的脫歐，除此之外，可能有欺騙行為存在的證據以及不道德的行為也進一步破壞了全民公投的合理性。

其實這里不用做語法分析，能調序清楚就好，請看這部分的翻譯：

(我知道你總覺得要有一個what才通順，但是這就是中文和英文的區別，你要按別人的習慣來。不能按你的感覺走，哪天你的感覺和別人的習慣一致了，你的語感就正確了。)
